Criminal Justice Reform Luncheon

Our usual group—comprised of author and professor of sociology G.H., former warden and parole board chairman L.C., ex-parole officer and Kentucky prison historian K.E., and myself—met for our bimonthly lunch discussion at Lou Lou’s Cafe. It’s always engaging and enlightening to share a table with these influential figures, each bringing decades of experience with our mass incarceration system. The conversation was particularly stimulating as we exchanged insights on recent books, innovative programs, and promising reform initiatives.
